Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEWARE - Too Short!!! And not offered in talls I purchased these pants in my usually NYDJ size and after receiving them was SHOCKED to learn that instead of the usual 31" inseam, NYDJ decided to make these a floody 29.5. I purchase NYDJ specifically because I'm long in the leg but not quite tall enough for tall sizes. Having grown up and grown too tall for pants as a teenager, I'm especially sensitive to disliking short pants. NYDJ really should mention somewhere other than where it's hidden under Details & Fit, that by the way you access with two extra clicks to open the silly panel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too short! Completely agree with the previous reviwer. These are way too short to be a regular length jean. When I tried then on out of the package, they looked like someone had just shrunk them in the dryer. I'm 5'7" and the tall inseams are long for me at 35 inches. I would expect a regular length jean to be around a 32 inseam. I just noticed the 29 inch inseam buried in the fine print. Please make a longer skinny regular length jean!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I own many pairs of NYDJ in many styles, and never had a problem, but these are really a disappointment. I haven't even washed them and the stitching has torn out of both back pockets. They are too short for me - should have been labeled as ankle length and the shiny fabric does not even look like denim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, Love, Love, Ami Shinny Leggings in Colors! I love the Ami Skinny Leggings, and they fit me the best. I agree with those who have written that they have been shortened! Yes, they have for the new shorter styles, but I've had to have mine hemmed for years, as I am 5 foot 3 and 1/2, so now I don't have to have them shortened. I was surprised when the spice ones came and did not need hemming, so I called to make sure I had not ordered petites, which are usually too short in the stride for me. The so called ankle jeans fit me like regular jeans, so I am very happy. I have these in blue, light blue with studs, blue jade, spice, and deep currant, and now am thinking of ordering the dark green color. They hold me in and fit snugly, but are comfortable enough I flew all night in them, My daughter even says "Mom, your butt looks good in those jeans." That's a great thing for a 71 year old to hear. I have sever other NYDJ styles, but the Ami's look the best on me. Those of you who are taller and want the jeans as long as last year's model, need to order tall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great colors, substantial fabric I love the deep currant and may try another color since I'm looking for a couple of colored pants to add for fall/winter. The sizing takes trial and error with NYDJ...I need a size up from the Dylan leggings I bought earlier this year. The pants hit me at the ankle, which is visible in all the photos. It will show off my booties, which is what I wanted. Yes, these are not pants that will hit the tops of your shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these jeans! NYDJ ads kept popping up in my feed so I had to take a look. I like a higher waist, and the Super Sculpting fabric sounded pretty fabulous to me. Seems like NYDJ is marketing to my demographic! I found the brand at a department store so that I could try on some of the styles and find the style I liked and the size that fit the best. I did end up purchasing my normal size (I ignored the "buy a size down" message), which is a 6, and they fit perfectly. With the sale price on their web site, this is a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pants ever!!! I have 12 pairs of NYDJ, not including all my summer ones. They fit perfectly and mold to your body. The higher waist is so comfortable. I will never wear anything else. Wish they made more velvets for dress wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Length just right for me; front inseam too long I just received these in the Oak color. A nice neutral tan/taupe twill. Great stretch. I'm 5'7" and the ankle length is perfect for me -- I don't want leggings/very slim jeans to be longer than 29.5 -- they just bunch at the ankle when they're too long. So . . . . But I can't keep them because the front rise comes up above my waist (which can be fine because it covers my muffin top), resulting in extra fabric at the tops of my thighs where the waist pushes fabric downward. So there's a lumpy area right there. It looks funny. If I pull the jeans up higher, they don't stay there, so I can't eliminate the lumpy place. If I pull them down a bit, the crotch is too low and looks and feels funny. So, good try, but not right for me. A smaller size would probably be toooooo tight everywhere else. Too bad.
