At NYDJ, fit is everything. The 2016 NYDJ Campaign “FIT TO BE” celebrates NYDJ’s signature Original Slimming Fit and the feminine strength and beauty of women of all ages and all sizes. An homage to the gorgeous diversity of women, the 2016 NYDJ campaign features iconic portraits of legendary supermodel Christie Brinkley, as well as celebrated film and television actor Bridget Moynahan, groundbreaking model Lana Ogilvie, and rising star Ashley Graham, together and individually. The imagery celebrates NYDJ’s beautiful approach to fit and fashion—an approach that puts women first and fits their empowered lifestyles, that helps them seize their denim and their destinies with confidence and style.
The “FIT TO BE” campaign underscores the NYDJ commitment to The Original Slimming Fit and conveys the beautiful confidence that comes from finding a truly perfect fitting pair of jeans. Headlines such as “FIT TO BE POWERFUL”, as well as, FIERCE, CONFIDENT, ICONIC, HAPPY, FEARLESS, SEXY and BEAUTIFUL, showcase the transformative power of a flattering pair of jeans.
NYDJ’s “FIT TO BE” campaign was unveiled last month at Lord & Taylor’s 5th Avenue flagship store in New York City. Our four ladies flaunted their fabulous curves & bright smiles while chatting with our favorite media outlets. It was a day of celebrating women of all shapes, sizes, and ages.
The mood was lively and the atmosphere was fun, just like hanging out with your best girlfriends. Ashley Graham taught us how to properly booty shake (see our Instagram for proof) and Christie Brinkley showed us her supermodel moves from the ‘80s. Bridget shared that she was able to pull off a secret wedding in the Hamptons this past summer. Christie’s youngest daughter, Sailor confessed she has a major girl crush on Ashley during their FaceTime session…which led Ashley to confess how much she has always idolized Christie. Lana shared pieces from hew new jewelry line, Sabre, which everyone rocked with their NYDJ looks.
The campaign and its empowering message has generated newsworthy buzz from the Today Show, Access Holiday and E! News to name a few. Who knew work could be this much fun?!
