I've lost some weight due to being sick and had to get new slacks for work. I thought I'd try these and going on a recommendation from a reviewer, I ordered a size 6 instead of a size 8. I can't remember when I wore a size 6 before!! They fit awesome! I'm really impressed! I do own 2 pair of NYDJ jeans but these fit a little differently. I do wish these came in a couple more colors, like beige or even navy, for a nice choice.

I washed them in cold water on "delicate" with a black sweater, and hung both to dry. Unfortunately, I hung the jeans upside down! The weight stretched them out so badly, they ended up REALLY skinny, and about 6" too long! :-( I lay them flat to dry now, but wish someone would have told me this earlier.

LOVE these ponte slacks!!! I'm apple shaped and short waisted. NYDJ are the only pants I can buy without trying them on. I've been told "you look great!" every time I've worn them :-) The butt does stretch out a bit, so they also loosen up through the stomach area after wear. They've pilled slightly where the inner thighs rub. But they are worth wearing out and buying another pair.

Very nice knit pant. As I always do, order 1 size down in this knit. I normally wear a 4P in NYDJ if it contains cotton (or denim). I have learned that with a NYDJ knit (rayon-nylon-spandex), order 1 size down. So I ordered these in a 2P, and they fit perfectly!

The straight leg opening is larger than a skinny, but much smaller than a suit pant.

The front pockets are kind of small yet functional; the back "pockets" are not functional. The leather trim on those is just for looks.

Overall, a great pant. Highly recommend!
